From 20 years, the trattoria is managed by Mr Marco, who is also the chef. It’s located a few steps from the sea, in the center of Levanto. It offers a rich menu with the typical Ligurian dishes, made basically by fresh fish. Ristorante Antica Trattoria Centro di Levanto offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere: the staff is nice and friendly, with a fast and professional service. The trattoria, one of the best restaurants in Levanto, offers also a sommelier ready to suggest customers the most appropriate wine to match the choice of the plates. The location is both traditional and international, thanks to the highly touristy actractiveness.

Services

Ristorante Antica Trattoria Centro di Levanto offers tasty seafood appetizers, prepared with fresh fish of the day and only organic ingredients. Some examples are: carpaccio of spada, tuna and salmon, marinated anchovies and fried ones, balls of cod and prawns in sesame crust, stuffed mussels, octopus drowned.

Pasta dishes follow the starters: that’s why they don’t have to satiate, because there’s should be space enough for main courses and, why not, desserts. Fresh homemade pasta is prepared with organic flour only, like Kamut. Some examples of pasta dishes are: risotto with seafood, fresh nettle noodles with seafood (dish of the house), fish soups, pansotti in walnut sauce (typical Ligurian fresh pasta similar to ravioli but triangular and only stuffed with chopped herbs, without meat), etc.

The main dishes are made with fresh fish and shellfish, carefully supplied daily at dawn. Taking a look at the menu you see that the restaurant is proposing the most valuable fishes, like: grilled fish, swordfish, baked fish, sea bass, lobster, etc.

The restaurant is located in Corso Italia, in a strategic position not far from the sea and in the center of this quaint village. Strolling from Corso Italia, a steep staircase leads to the hill on which stands the ancient Castle. From here walking down narrow lanes, between flowered houses along a stretch of the medieval walls, will lead to the beautiful church of Sant’Andrea. Crossing Piazza del Popolo there is the famous medieval Loggia. A little farther to the right of the Loggia there is Ospitalia del Mare, with the Permanent Exhibition of Material Culture. This trattoria is open every day except Tuesday, from 12:30 to 14: 30 and from 19:00 to 22:30. In the summer it will close at 23:30.
